Vale Earth Fair Pop-Up Shop

News story posted on: Wed, 12th Aug 2015

Tickets are on sale at the Vale Earth Fair Pop Up Shop in Smith Street from Sunday 16th August. With the annual Vale Earth Fair music festival just a few weeks away, we are taking over the OSA Pop-Up shop in Smith Street this Sunday and all next week to promote the event. As well as tickets for the Vale Earth Fair there will also be merchandise on sale, including t-shirts, hoodies, and other goodies.

Second hand records and CDs will also be on sale at the shop, which is opening specially for record enthusiasts on Sunday from 10am until 5pm. The Vale Earth Fair Collective is appealing for donations of records, CDs and other music related items for the Pop-Up Shop to add to existing stock. Maybe you have a box of old records gathering dust at home – if so, the Vale Earth Fair will happily take them off your hands to help raise money towards the Vale Earth Fair, which is organised by volunteers and donates profits to charitable organisations.

If you have any unwanted  records, CDs, DVDs, music books , etc. you would like to donate to help raise funds for the Vale Earth Fair please email rob.roussel@cwgsy.net or call 07781 107698. Collections can be arranged, or you can drop them into the Pop-Up shop anytime on Sunday or during next week – opening hours will be 10am until 5:30pm.

Information about the causes that the Vale Earth Fair supports, namely the Burma Campaign UK, Free Tibet, and Bridge2Nepal, will also be available at the shop, if you want to learn more about the humanitarian work they do.

Tickets for the Vale Earth Fair are £15 (£10 concessions - over 65's/under 18's), and children 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult. Prices on the day of the festival are £20 and £15 (concessions).
